Welcome

"The Connected Berkshire partnership is committed to improving the quality of life for all who live and work in Berkshire by creating an awareness of the benefits and exploitation of technology regardless of product or vendor. Our success is due to the drive, focus and determination of all partners from business, community, education and our local government partners with whom we work so closely.  In particular we welcome and look to their continued support for the remainder of 2007 and into 2008."

Christina Howell

Chair of Connected Berkshire

"We are pleased to report that we have secured additional support from the Regional Development Agency, SEEDA to allow the partnership to continue its excellent work and deliver the outputs that business welcomes.  We are also pleased to be working with SEEDA and other regional e-partnerships to secure a longer term programme that will help support the delivery of the Regional Economic Strategy."

For local businesses, Connected Berkshire is currently offering free advice and a small number of Grants of up to £400.

Business may also find of interest a Business IT Guide developed by e-Skills UK.  The information and diagnostic resource is designed to help small businesses identify the ICT that could help your business and to support you in taking action.
